Born in 1926, local artist coming from an family of artist, starting from his mother and Cousin Totono Quandt; a renowned local artist that died recently. Coleto has master the technique of fine portrait at his latter age. His characteristic realistic style and Aruban landscaping is his line of work. He remembers the colors from buildings, landscapes and surroundings from his childhood and uses this on his canvas
This is a very important documentation of colors presented by the artist.
Due to his illness and advance age he can paint for no more than 13 days at the time under medication. His latest limited works are in exhibition at the moment, we hope you enjoy them. Later the foundation will have a tribute exhibition on his name.
