Tamarijn Aruba completes renovations to it's lobby

 

The Tamarijn Aruba has completed renovations on its lobby. The expanded lobby now boasts a modern look with clean simple lines, bright colors, slate-colored and gold tone Italian porcelain tiles, new decorative, focal and ambient lighting, and original artwork.  

Throughout the lobby guests will find original paintings, photography and sculpture by international and local artists Adrian Rekkers, Frenk Graat, Paul van Driel, Anna Maria Nava, Luis A. Castaño Benjumea and Gilbert Senchi.  Of particular note is Gilbert Senchi’s steel masterpiece “Victory,” which was presented to His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco during the opening of The Links at Divi Aruba 9-hole golf course in late October 2004.

The collection selected by South End Art Gallery together with Alex Nieuwmeyer represents the Modern Art collection of Arubian artist. This important collection is an testimony of Arubean Modern Art with some of the most important works of the selected artists.
