Herewith we take pleasure in welcoming you to this art exhibition of contemporary artist. This year the WTO has chosen sports and tourism as their theme, described as “ 2 living forces for mutual understanding, culture and the development of society”

That’s why Aruba Tourism Authority together with the South End Art Foundation have thought fit to have carefully collected a group of canvases which were to represent this theme from an group of artists and their point of view.

These contemporary Artists searched in history for the roots of arts & sports with influences from classic Greek artist like Fidias and characterized by the natural style, movement, elegance and serenity that dominates the subjects much like Aruban artist Timothy Charles.

Or a futuristic vision of sports through the eyes of master painter Mo– Mohamed in his 30 x 40 cm. collage titled; Tokyo 2006.
